I just wanted to share with you something great I found. Something that will really open your eyes to this 'problem'.
The truth is, unless we all start acting now, it might be TOO LATE in maybe even 10 years time. Then I realised saving the evnironment also saves me money. I just became frustrated with the ever increasing costs of my electricity, this invisible source that I am paying for and to who?
Every year I see on the news or in the newspapers about electricity increasing by x% and the ever increasing cost of oil and gas.
Then I realised that I wasn't really doing anything about it, just complaining about the cost. I tried changing my habits like switching off lights when not needed, or even buying Energy Saving Light Bulbs! The truth is, I'm just too comfortable with my home lifestyle. TV, computer, heating system set too high (I like to be warm!) but I just take it all for granted.
When we have a power cut at home, I suddenly realise how important our energy is. "The fridge will get warm!" or "Now I can't watch The Simpsons! Doh!"
We simply need more energy in today's world but the cost is ever increasing! What we all really want, is FREE energy not a restriction of technology due to energy costs.
So I thought let's stop complaining about costs and let's do something about it.
I saw once on the Discovery Channel, a house built from a shipping container and ALL the energy was 'home made'! Nothing came from a supplier! That's when I believed it could be possible. Maybe you even saw this episode too?
All around us nature is GIVING us energy and it's FREE to use! So why not use it? They did it on the Discovery Channel so I tried too, lol.
